And then I have had an old Cadre 2 Duo PC for Lightroom and Photoshop for a few years now and evidently its not enough. One of the main reasons I was not upgrading is because of my Google Nik collection. I got it for Lightroom when Google was giving it abroad, then DxO bought it and at present its paid.
Is there whatever way to transfer the Google Nik drove onto my new PC without buying it again? Is Information technology linked to your account?

No, I ran the setup directly from the browser.
And all my Nik stuff is stored in C Drive.
Not skillful. As with about other applications, information technology needs to be "installed". The Nik plugin collection integrates itself into Lightroom. You tin't recreate that without installing it.
Only like your actual LR and PS applications (and all the other ones you utilise). Tin can't just 'move it' to a new PC and its Bone. They need to be installed.
However: in the context of a new PC, if you really utilize that collection a lot...I would not be balky to paying the $69 for the newest version. Some things are worth the money.
And I absolutely would not let the lack of the previously free Nik collection stop me from upgrading the PC from a Core2Duo to something much newer.

Where practice you shop your Google Nik loader? If you store it on a separate drive and so just copy information technology over. If you store your Nik loader in your C: drive then information technology becomes more difficult.

So I accept had an quondam Core ii Duo PC for Lightroom and Photoshop for a few years now and apparently its not enough. One of the main reasons I was non upgrading is because of my Google Nik drove. I got information technology for Lightroom when Google was giving it away, so DxO bought it and now its paid.
Is in that location whatsoever manner to transfer the Google Nik collection onto my new PC without buying it again? Is It linked to your business relationship?
It's not linked to your account, only as with nigh applications, you can't just transfer information technology.
When you lot installed it, it registered itself with your current PS and LR applications. Equally such, information technology would need to be reinstalled in a new PC and OS.
Do y'all still have the original install file? nikcollection-total-1.2.eleven.exe.

OMG....Thanks! I had a HD failure and was able to go someone to accept all the data off for me and put information technology on an external Hd. Was trying to install the onetime Nik software and did not have an execute file but had the uninstall file LOL.
USAFRET posted the exe file and i did a search to meet if that was saved in my data dump....information technology was! So happy. Thank you! I guess my outlook 2013 emails are there too since that is where it probably came from. Yep!
